CitaDAO Community Airdrop

We are excited that we have an amazing DeFi community and we want to continue aligning with all stakeholders. For this reason, we have dedicated a portion of our total tokens to our active community members and early adopters as we shared in our previous post.

Today, in conjunction with our Genesis IRO launch (app.citadao.io), we are releasing claim.citadao.io to the DeFi community to check if you qualified for our airdrop. Snapshot is ongoing and we are adding more communities in the upcoming weeks.

Eligibility

Surprise! The Discord roles that contribute to the community’s growth and overall health actually have their perks!

Roles were assigned to those who contributed to the community efforts of CitaDAO, whether by sharing our vision in communities, tweeting to spread the word, completing tasks, earning it in our discord server, etc.

We want to take this opportunity to acknowledge your contributions and recognize the impact that each of you has had on the current protocol’s visibility and strategic positioning.

BanklessDAO

We are glad to have BanklessDAO as our partner in building up the next breakthrough in the DeFi space. As announced earlier, we are doing an airdrop to all $BANK holders to continue building communities that are active in the space. We have decided that a total estimate of 9 million KNIGHT tokens will be distributed to eligible BANK holders.

BanklessDAO’s vision to onboard 1 billion people is aligned with our vision. We hope that we can continue to leverage on Bankless’ platform to help make this vision a reality.

Yearn, IndexCoop, and xToken

One of the key focus for the Knights of CitaDAO is to create as much composability with other DeFi protocol. Therefore, we want to make sure our governance token goes into the hand of our partners’ community who are aligned with our vision and who are equally excited about real world asset coming in to the DeFi space. If you hold any of our partner’s governance tokens (e.g YFI, yvYFI, INDEX, XTK) you are also qualified to earn our KNIGHT token airdrop. All you have to do is participate in our Genesis IRO and you will earn an equivalent of 50% of your USDC contribution in KNIGHT token (up to a max of 10,000 KNIGHT).

What can I do with my $KNIGHT airdrop?

Governance

$KNIGHT tokens will be a crucial part of protocol governance and can be used to vote on important decisions including the introduction of new vaults and strategies, new yield protocol integrations, protocol parameters, and the distribution of rewards. In the future, we will also use governance to host elections of new strategists. The scope of governance could expand in the future depending on community involvement and feedback, so be sure to participate in policy discussions.

We will be announcing more use cases and ways you could earn KNIGHT tokens in a future post.

We will release the news of the airdrop via both Twitter and Discord. Be sure to get involved in the CitaDAO community if you’re not contributing already. We have an exciting roadmap of product launches that we can’t wait to share with the community. We aim to complete this airdrop to all eligible recipients after the Genesis IRO completes.
